New Mail Order Procedures

In an effort to improve service, I've initiated a new procedure in processing mail orders. As you probably know, mail orders are done in the order that payment is received. Up until now, however, there was no schedule of a specific kind for them. Now when an order is received (and it must be with payment), it is scheduled to be taped on a specific day. A postcard is sent informing you of that date, and you will receive your tape 2 to 3 days after that since everything is sent priority mail.

To be absolutely fair, no telephone orders will be scheduled at the time of the call—only upon receipt of payment, but I'll be happy to tell you the tentative date as of the call. I'm able to keep prices lower than most in this age of Astrologers charging over $200 per hour, because I do no billing or credit cards. Those services add costs. I'd like to keep it simple as long as possible, and with your co-operation, I can.

Don't forget that parties can be done by mail. Those have been very successful. Whether in person or by mail, the rules are: Hostess invites 5 to 7 guests to have a mini-chart done for $25 each and collects the money from the guests. I'm given the birth data in advance. I either come to a site and record guests' charts in person, or I do them here and mail them to the hostess. The hostess gets a full service of his/her choice as a gift for having the party. It's a great way to earn a free chart!

New Office in Fredericksburg, VA

I've found a lovely place in Fredericksburg where I can meet with clients. The address is: 1818 Charles St., but the mailing address continues to be the Post Office address on the home page. Fredericksburg is only 50 miles south of Washington, DC, and 50 miles north of Richmond, just off I-95, so it is not that far from all of Virginia and even Maryland. If you want to make a trip out of it, there are marvelous historical sites to see and wonderful antique shops.

Directions are: From I-95 coming from the north or the south take the exit for Route 3 going toward downtown Fredericksburg. When you intersect with Route 1, go under the overpass, staying right, and up onto Route 1. Although Rt. 1 is really going north, I believe the signs read east/west. Turn right onto Fall Hill Ave. Turn right at the first traffic light onto Washington Ave. (a one-way street), then make a left onto Pelham, then a right a few blocks down onto Charles. It's the last building on the right—numbers right over the door, not very obvious. When you leave, you must turn right onto Fall Hill Ave. (one way) and proceed to Route 1. I'm only there by appointment, so call ahead!
