Who is Most Affected by These Two Eclipses?

By Carole Devine

The eclipse of July 28th will affect those people (or businesses, events, etc.) born on or near Jan. 25, April 25, July 28 and Oct. 28. If you were born within four or five days of these dates, then you will probably have some life-altering events happen or decisions made sometime over the next year. When I refer to births of businesses or events, I am reminding you that anything "born" has a birth chart. An event could be a wedding date, birth of a business, purchase of a house, etc.

The eclipse of August 11th will affect those people and events born on or within five days of Feb. 7, May 9, Aug. 11, and Nov. 10.

If you know your chart, then be aware that you will also be personally affected if you have a planet or angle (especially the angles—i.e., Ascendant, Descendant, Midheaven, or IC) in the 19th degree of Leo, Aquarius, Taurus or Scorpio. For July 28th, this holds true for positions in the 5th degree of those signs. You can allow up to a five degree orb for these. That is, anything within 0 to 10 degrees of those signs for July 28th and, in the case of August 11th (the stronger of the two), it would be between 13 and 23 degrees of these signs. Naturally, the more exact it is, the more potent it will be.

Another group that will be very affected by this are the people born between late 1946 and mid-1948. That was when there was a conjunction of Saturn and Pluto in Leo. If you were born in those years and near the above dates, then these eclipses are definitely a major "happening."

People born in 1962 are quite affected, since there was a major stellium in Aquarius that year. There may be other times that are important, but these stand out as most potent.

Another major consideration is the node positions in people's charts. Those with the nodal axis near the above degrees will have major adjustments in their environmental circumstances and relationships.
